SURF PARADE RESORT, Gold Coast – A Smart Stay in the City

The hotel rooms were clean, spacious, and newly renovated, offering a pleasant stay overall. However, some aspects like the curtain falling apart and powered items missing detracted from the experience. The location was great, with easy access to the beach, restaurants, and public transportation, although a bit far from the main center. The service, unfortunately, was marred by rude behavior and lack of cooperation, impacting the overall guest satisfaction. The dining options seemed limited, but the facilities provided decent amenities for a comfortable stay.

The hotel's location is a bit inconvenient between Surfers and Broadbeach, requiring a 20-minute walk or tram ride to the main centers. The rooms were unsatisfactory, with cleanliness concerns like urine in the toilet, toilet paper left, and dirty carpets with long black hairs. Despite these issues, the service was outstanding, with immediate assistance for air-conditioning problems and access to great amenities like the heated pool, spa, and sauna. The proximity to the beach and ease of transportation were positive points; however, the rooms' condition was a major downside.

The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to the fabulous beach and is positioned between Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach, making it an excellent and easy place to stay. The rooms are self-contained, offering easy access to all shops, restaurants, and the pool area; however, the direct proximity to public transport adds convenience. The service includes amenities like a heated pool, spa, and sauna, providing all the comforts of home at a great price, although there was a concerning incident with an unclean blanket and an unfriendly staff member. The location is superb, with easy access to the light rail system for trips to either Broadbeach or Surfers Paradise, but there's a slight inconvenience of needing to walk or tram to reach the main center. Dining options include toast and cereal, with local products offered, and the facilities, overall, are satisfying.

My stay at the hotel was pleasant overall. The room was nice and clean, but I had trouble sleeping due to broken blinds and noise from outside and adjoining rooms. The service was excellent, with the staff being friendly and helpful. The location was convenient, not too far from the main attractions but still quiet. The dining experience was basic, offering simple options. Overall, a decent place to stay with some minor drawbacks.
